Cooking For A Cause Video Series

Little Steps of Hope  walks in the Out of the Darkness Walk to raise awareness and money to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, in memory of loved ones lost to suicide.

One of our team goals is to break the social stigma that keeps people from discussing suicide and mental illness with others. Suicide is something that is not talked about, and is the result of illness, not the result of character flaws or a personal weakness.

Suicide Myth vs Fact Video Series

Suicide prevention starts with recognizing the warning signs and taking them seriously. A suicidal person may not ask for help, but that doesn't mean that help isn't wanted. Most people who complete suicide don't want to die—they just want to stop hurting.  If you think a friend or family member is considering suicide, you might be afraid to bring up the subject. But talking openly about suicidal thoughts and feelings can save a life.

Suicide Myth vs Fact ~ This video series was created by loved ones who suffered a loss by suicide to help dispel the myths about suicide. It is important to know the facts to help recognize the warning signs and possibly save a life.
